What We Do - Construction Surveys
 
SAS provides survey services to the construction industry by locating the foundations for buildings, pilings and pads in relation to the property boundaries. SAS uses state of the art GPS and total stations to accurately layout the foundations and pilings.

Residential foundation layouts – SAS undertakes the layout of the corners of foundations as well as pilings for housing construction.

Commercial buildings – SAS has been involved in the layout of the foundations and pilings for the majority of commercial and apartment buildings in Yellowknife since 1992.

Mine Sites – SAS has provided survey support for the construction of Ekati Mine, the Diavik Mine, DeBeers Snap Lake Project, Jericho Mine and is presently involved in the Gahcho Kue’ project for DeBeers at Kennady Lake.

Highway Construction – SAS has provided survey support for the construction of NWT Highway # 3 and NWT Highway #4. SAS has utilized RTK – GPS for fast accurate and reliable placement of grades.
